Leon stared blankly at his embarrassing failure.

At this moment, the boy recalled her words from before:
I’m not planning on sleeping here anyway.

He turned off his phone’s flashlight after placing his knife into its leather sheath. He couldn’t believe himself, too ashamed to even reflect on what just occurred. He’d rather just go to sleep and get this night over with.

Two minutes later, Lucille returns from the bathroom, only to find her sleeping bag clearly ravaged by some kind of violent animal. That, or some idiot with a knife.

Ah… she thought to herself, so it happened again.

Ever since that night she heard the gunshot, she suspected that someone’s been trying to eliminate her. Not only have her suspicions been confirmed, but now she knows that person is a student or staff member of Westside High School.

Everyone in this room was now a suspect, with one exception: Leon, of course. Lucille lied and told him she wasn’t going to sleep here, and of course he believed her (because he’s a predictable moron.) Besides, last time she checked, he'd been asleep for hours. Considering his bed is right next to hers, it looks more like her assailant was attempting to frame him for the murder. That was their mistake, though, because Leon is too much of a wacky dunce to pull off something like murder. Obviously.
