Dear Sister,

I felt it. For a single moment. A pull, like some long-broken root briefly reconnecting with its mother tree. It sounds impossible, and it should be, yet still I felt it. I will follow this feeling, but I do not know where it will take me. I do not know for how long I'll be gone. I am afraid to leave without you, but I am sure of your safety. This is because I delivered you to the village... You are being kept in one of their hostels. I knew they would take you in more eagerly than myself, even wearing the mask.

Take me home
