You turn around and see nothing. Flint and the cave are gone. The afterimage of their lantern's light burning against your retinas slowly fades. Your eyes attempt and fail to adjust to the dark. Waving your hand in front of your face produces no results; it's like your body isn't even there.
Then, for the slightest of moments, you think you see a bright white light. Before you can even shut your eyes as a reaction, it's already gone. You close your eyes anyway. When they open, however, you find a new room fading into view.
