Though she enjoys her time at school (for the most part), she was itching to leave this place and relax. However, there was someone with other plans for her.
“Lily! Hey, where ya going, dummy!” A familiar voice called to her from behind.
“Oh hey Fox. Going home, why?”
Her childhood friend caught up and looked at her with sad puppy eyes. “Didn’t you say we’d go to the awesome house I found in the Gravewood forest?”
“Oh, right, I almost forgot.” She smiled at him, then paused, tilting her head in confusion. “Wait, it’s just a house? Didn’t you say it was a mansion this morning?”
“Actually it’s more like a shed. C’mon!! What are you waiting for!!!!”
Fox began to run up ahead, but Lily grabbed his arm.
“Hold on a moment. I want to bring Willow along.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Don’t smile like that, it’s creepy. I want you two to get along, so no tricks okay?”
“...fine.”
“No tomfoolery either.”
“WHAT!?”
“You heard me.”
Fox crossed his arms and sighed, then pulled at his hat’s strings. “Ugh… okay fine.”
