She hardly talks, despite how friendly I try to appear. I heard that even just some smalltalk every day will eventually make someone like you, but it doesn’t seem to be a universal fact.
I did find, however, that if I move my desk in front of hers during breaks and stare her down, she eventually breaks the silence. Perfect. She was at first suspicious of my augmented eye, but I managed to trick her with something I made up on the spot. What an idiot!
